Simon Women's Alliance

Mission

The mission of the Simon Women’s Alliance (SWA) is to provide education and support to alumnae and the broader community about women in leadership, nurture a network for Simon alumnae and students as well as raise scholarship funds for female students at the Simon Business School. Our programs facilitate the exchange of information, experiences, and support to enable University of Rochester Simon Business School alumnae to reach their full potential, both personally and professionally, at all stages of their lives and careers. The group is led by the Simon Women’s Alliance Board.

Membership Criteria

  • Actively engage with Simon students and/or alumnae in at least one of the following:
    • Serving as a mentor
    • Student club speaker
    • Alumnae event attendee
    • Content provider on LinkedIn group
    • Admissions volunteer
    • Engagement and partnership with Simon School Advancement
  • A commitment to engage and support fellow members, with a mutual expectation of respect and professionalism.
  • Make an annual gift of at least $100 to the Simon Women’s Alliance Scholarship Fund.
  • Student members of Simon Women in Business (SWIB), are welcomed for their first year following graduation in SWA without any financial commitment, but are expected to meet engagement commitments.

How to Join
Step 1. Contact Kate Cutaia, Senior Director of Donor Engagement via email (kate.cutaia@simon.rochester.edu) expressing your interest.

Step 2. Make a gift to the Simon Women’s Alliance Scholarship Fund. This can be done online at rochester.edu/giving/simon18 (choose designation – Simon Women’s Alliance) or you may send a check to Kate’s attention at Box 270100, Rochester, NY 14627 (payable to Simon School, note fund in memo).
