Hiring an Intern
Each year, enthusiastic Simon School students seek internships in enterprises of all sizes, in countries the world over. For a two- to three-month period during the summer following their first year of study, students secure challenging short-term employment. As interns, students work on projects in various capacities. They test the cutting-edge concepts they learned in the classroom, apply know-how gained in their previous work experience and add value to their summer employers organization.
How Can I Hire a Simon Intern?
There are three simple ways to employ a Simon School intern this summer:
- On-Campus Interviews: Post a job listing through the Career Management Center to solicit interested candidates. Then organize on-campus, on-site or telephone interviews with students. The Career Management Center will collect all the responses and send them to you electronically. Employers can also request that materials be e-mailed directly from interested students. - Online Resume Database: Our online resume database features a robust search engine which you can access at your own pace by keyword and by pre-established preferences enabling you to efficiently identify the candidates which best match your requirements. - Post An Opening: Collecting resumes from interested students is a quick and effective method for employers to get a look at the Simon talent pool.
