Pricing is one of the most important, least understood, and most controversial decisions a manager has to make.  In addition, pricing decisions often have significant long-term implications.  This course aims to deepen your understanding of the pricing issues (strategy and tactics) faced by organizations.  More specifically, the objectives of the course are: 

  • To develop an understanding of the relation between an organization's environment (e.g., cost, demand, competition, and regulation) and its optimal pricing strategy.
  • To develop skills in applying this understanding to actual pricing issues.
