Professor Zang is a recent graduate of Duke University with research interests in earnings management, financial analysis and managerial compensation. Her teaching interest is in financial accounting. Zang has received several prestigious awards, including the Deloitte & Touche Foundation Doctoral Fellowship Award and the American Accounting Association Doctoral Consortium Fellow in 2004, and the PricewaterhouseCoopers/Long Tao Scholarship (Beijing, China) in 2000. She is a member of the American Accounting Association and the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada.
