Dr. Drennen is a Professor of Economics and Environmental Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva NY, as well as a senior economist for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque NM. His research focuses on using a systems approach to energy modeling that allows decision makers and other interested stakeholders to explore the economic and environmental tradeoffs associated with various energy options. His most recent work explores the production costs, energy use, and environmental impacts of various alternatives to gasoline and diesel. He is the co-author of "Pathways to a Hydrogen Future", published by Elsevier Press.
