Bio

Professor Nikolov holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Prior to joining the Simon School, he spent one year as a postdoctoral researcher at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. Nikolov's research has been published in the Journal of Finance.

Teaching Interests

His teaching interests are in corporate and entrepreneurial finance.

Research Interests

Professor Nikolov has research interests in theoretical and empirical corporate finance. His recent resarch investigates the effects of real market frictions and agency conflicts on firms’ financing, cash holdings and investment policy.
