Bio

Professor Miklós-Thal's research is in the areas of industrial economics, quantitative marketing, and personnel economics. Her current research focuses on vertical relations between manufacturers and retailers. She has also studied cartel pricing, how marketing decisions shape consumer quality perceptions, and promotion contests within firms. Miklós-Thal’s research has been published in leading economics and management journals, including the Journal of the European Economic Association, The Rand Journal of Economics, The Economic Journal, Games and Economic Behavior, Management Science, the Journal of Marketing Research, and Quantitative Marketing and Economics. Miklós-Thal is Associate Editor of the European Economic Review. Professor Miklós-Thal teaches classes in the area of pricing to MBA and MSc students.
