SIMON SCHOOL INTRODUCES INTERNATIONAL STUDENT LOAN PROGRAM

Rochester, N.Y.August 5, 2009—Starting in September 2009, international students will be eligible for partial funding toward full-time M.B.A. studies through a new International Student Loan Program (ISLP) atthe Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester.

International students with good or no credit histories are eligible to apply and there is no requirement to secure a U.S. citizen or resident to co-sign. The annual loan limit is based on the cost of tuition and mandatory fees, minus any other aid received as certified by the Simon School.

“The Simon School has a long history of openness to talent from around the world, and we are pleased to be able to offer this new student loan program to international students who are eligible,” says Dean Mark Zupan. “International students have many hurdles to overcome in gaining an education here, and if we can make it easier for them to achieve a first-rate graduate business education, we are very pleased to help.”

The loan is administered through the Access Group.
