Philly Fed President Charles Plosser To Present Annual Economic Seminar

Rochester, N.Y. - November 15, 2007 - Charles I. Plosser, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and former dean and professor at the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester, will present his 29th annual Economic Seminar at noon on November 27, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency Rochester. Plosser, an economist of international distinction currently on leave from the Simon School, assumed the Philly Fed presidency in August 2006.

Plosser will share his views on current economic conditions and what can be expected in the coming year. He will also discuss the risks the economy faces going forward. Joining Plosser will be Anthony Chan, managing director and chief economist with J. P. Morgan Private Client Services. Chan will share his economic outlook for New York State and upstate New York. E. Malcolm (Sandy) Wolcott Jr., president of J. P. Morgan Chase & Co., Upstate New York, will moderate the seminar.
