Rochester, N.Y.-October 2, 2007-Prospective M.B.A. students will find useful admissions tips and information about getting a graduate business education through a new online blog authored by admissions staff at the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester.
The Simon School Admissions Blog, located on the Web at http://simonschool.typepad.com/admissionsblog/, is intended to offer prospective students a wealth of information that can help them in their decision making process toward a graduate business degree.
“The Simon School Admissions blog provides a first-hand look into life on campus and in the surrounding Rochester community,” says Rebekah Lewin, director of full-time M.B.A. and M.S. admissions. “Our admissions staff will offer tips on the admissions process, details on our off-campus recruiting and on-campus events, and we will occasionally invite a guest blogger from the student body or another Simon School department to add a unique perspective.”
“We invite and encourage dialogue about the admissions process, and hope this will be a useful tool for all those interested in obtaining a first-rate graduate business education at the Simon School,” says Dean Mark Zupan. The Simon School was one of the first top-ranked business schools to enter the online blogosphere last year with its Simon School Communications Blog, located on the Web at http://simonschool.typepad.com/communicationsblog/. That blog is intended to be a communication forum for media as well as current and prospective business school students around the world.
Prospective students wishing to apply to the M.B.A. or M.S. programs must meet Simon School admissions criteria. For further information, contact Gregory V. MacDonald, executive director of M.B.A. admissions and administration, at 585-275-3533 or admissions@simon.rochester.edu.
