Rochester, N.Y.—September 18, 2008—Simon School Dean Mark Zupan, University administrators, and Simon School faculty will welcome the M.B.A. Classes of 2009 and 2010. Dean Zupan and Dusty Riddle ’09, president of the Graduate Business Council, will be the first members of the Simon community to sign the Simon School Credo, a student-authored set of principles emphasizing the importance of integrity and ethics. Simon was among the first leading business schools to adopt a credo in 2006. The credo will later be framed and prominently displayed in Schlegel Hall on the University’s River Campus.

Zekelman is a board member of the John Maneely Company, a niche manufacturing firm, and former president of its subsidiary, Atlas Tube Inc., a leading Canadian manufacturer of steel construction and industrial tubing. A native of Windsor, Ontario, Zekelman and his family have long been involved in charitable activities including the Holocaust Memorial Center near Detroit, Mich., where he and his brothers donated $10 million in honor of their parents, their paternal grandparents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. In addition to his Simon degree, Zekelman holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
