EVENT:Upstate Business Career Alliance 1st Annual Career Fair and Interviewing Event

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE:10 a.m.─5:00 p.m.; Friday, April 17, 2009, Syracuse University Whitman School of Management

Rochester, N.Y.—April 1, 2009—Firms looking to hire bright and talented students from the region’s largest business schools will have an all-day opportunity to select and interview top talent during the Upstate Business Career Alliance First Annual Career Fair and Interviewing Event on April 17, 2009 at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. The event will offer employees an opportunity to select the best candidates across six business schools in one simple step, and then interview them in one location on April 17. The goal of the event is to prevent the “brain drain” of top talent from upstate New York to other regions.

The Upstate Business Career Alliance is a collaboration between six upstate New York business schools including the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, the University at Albany School of Business, the Binghamton University School of Management, the University at Buffalo School of Management, the E. Philip Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology, and the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.

The event is free and open to the public. To register, visit http://oce2.rit.edu/ubca/
