English Language & Academic Communication Skills

This immersion experience includes daily, small-group instruction in all skill areas: grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Of special note are individualized pronunciation drills and practice. The program places special emphasis upon developing language skills most relevant to M.B.A. and M.S. study: formal and informal discussion skills; listening to lectures and note-taking skills; short presentations; and timed reading and writing. In addition, students will be introduced to the business and case method of study and will participate in a team project, which will include an orientation on how to use the Management Communication Library.
