Simon Business School

International Exchange Programs

We believe a rigorous MBA program can and should be eye-opening on many levels. You will be encouraged to explore and focus as never before – to gain a more profound understand of what business means in the world, the leader you can be, and the impact you create. Part of expanding your understanding of the global business marketplace is to see it up close. We offer international exchange programs in Finland, Germany, Japan, and Mexico for the winter term of the second year of the MBA program.

Prior to pursuing an international exchange program, you will develop strategic academic objectives and a required job search plan to help you maximize your experience on a personal and professional level. You will also have the opportunity to network in a new culture and make lasting connections as you embark in your career.

Student Perspective

Aileen Hayman - 150wDuring my time at Simon, I took the amazing opportunity to study abroad while pursuing my MBA. Through the exchange program, I completed my Winter Term of 2017 at the International University of Japan (IUJ), which is comprised of about 300 students from over 50 countries and territories around the world. I was able to work with, learn from, and build a network among business students and professionals from all over the world. At the same time, I was immersed in Japanese culture and traveled the country to see new places, eat diverse foods, and learn different traditions.

Those three months abroad broadened my perspective, enriched my MBA education, and expanded the skill set that I apply in my career today. With so few MBA programs offering international exchange opportunities, Simon Business School leverages it to create a well-rounded and truly valuable curriculum.
