Full-Time MBA Admissions

The Simon School uses a self-managed online application. This requires the applicant to accumulate the necessary documents to complete the process. Applications will be processed when they are submitted, although an application cannot be reviewed for a final decision by the Admissions Committee until all materials are received and the application is complete. Once submitted, academic records, essays, and recommendations may not be copied, borrowed, or returned.

Application Checklist

  • Online application form
  • Current résumé
  • One required essay (double spaced, 12 point font, 500 word limit)
  • Unofficial transcripts, scanned, and uploaded for each college attended (admitted students will be required to submit official transcripts at a later date)
  • Test-taker results for GMAT or GRE, scanned and uploaded (optional for MS Marketing & Medical Management applicants)
  • Test-taker results for TOEFL, scanned and uploaded (all international candidates except those who received a degree from an English-speaking institution)
  • One online letter of recommendation (submitted electronically); a second letter of recommendation is optional
  • $125 application fee

You may check the status of your application materials on our web site under "Check your Admissions Status." Please allow approximately 15 business days for processing and updating your status. Applicants will be required to submit official transcripts and test scores upon admission. Offers of admission are not binding until these documents are verified.

Admissions decisions are no longer e-mailed to applicants. Please log in to your ApplyYourself account regularly to check your status, as decisions will only be posted online.

Outstanding Reputation, Rigorous Curriculum

“Oddly enough for a marketing person, it was Simon’s sterling reputation in finance that attracted me. Brand management is an interesting blend of the creative and the analytical. I think that the challenge of succeeding at a school known for its rigorous quantitative curriculum created a competitive edge for me in the job market. Additionally, the international influence of the student body was highly interesting to me–I love international travel and learning about other cultures.”
