Doug Petno is the Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Banking for JPMorgan Chase and a member of the firm’s Executive and Operating Committees.

One of the firm's six lines of business, Commercial Banking has a local presence in more than 100 US cities and eight countries around the world. It serves more than 24,000 clients nationally, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities with annual revenue generally ranging from $10 million to $2 billion, and more than 35,000 real estate investors/owners.

Commercial Banking delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service, and partners with the firm’s other businesses to provide comprehensive solutions, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and asset management, to meet its clients’ domestic and international financial needs.

A JPMorgan Chase veteran, Petno has more than 20 years of experience at the firm, most recently as global head of the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group, where he oversaw client coverage for Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Chemicals, Metals & Mining, Building Products, and Paper & Packaging.

Petno has an MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, and a BA in Biology from Wabash College.
