The Scholarship

According to a press release dated October 9, 2008, the Simon School is offering special scholarship support to those adversely affected by the current economic crisis.

Eligibility

U.S. citizens and permanent residents displaced or adversely affected by the national financial crisis

Scholarship Details

Up to fifty merit-based scholarships, worth a minimum of $40,000 each, with consideration for awards up to full tuition

Applicable Programs

Full-time M.B.A. study, with entry as early as January 2009

Application Process

  • Complete the online application
  • Submit an optional essay to explain why you should be selected for the scholarship award (please use the Optional Essay 3 on the online application)
  • Complete an admissions interview on the Simon campus or in select U.S. cities

Selection Criteria for Scholarship Recipients

  • All scholarship recipients must meet standard Simon admission requirements
  • If admitted, the Admissions Committee will review all scholarship candidates on both an absolute and relative basis considering their work experience to date along with their career path and potential; academic background and performance; interpersonal skills and potential contributions to the Simon community; potential for leadership both within Simon and in their post-graduate careers.
