The Simon Marketing Association (SMA) Microsoft Case Challenge was a great success. Ten teams competed in the first round and presented to a panel of Simon faculty. Five teams made it to the final round, presenting to Microsoft representatives including Eric Hall, MBA Class of 1987, and Phillip Clark, MBA Class of 2008. The winning team members received a Microsoft Xbox, and runners-up won a wireless foldable keyboard. SMA leaders received positive feedback from the participating teams and the Microsoft group. The Association plans to make this case competition an annual event.
The Goodyear Innovation Challenge is a business design and innovation competition sponsored by Goodyear in collaboration with the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Masters-level students from across the United States are invited to unleash their creativity while addressing real-world business challenges.
