MS in Medical Management

The medical industry needs more than just doctors and nurses. The burgeoning field—  representing 16 percent of the nation’s and 10 percent of the world’s economies—encompasses such areas as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, software, insurance, and federal regulations. All areas demand leaders who understand the fiscal challenges in the medical industry.

The Simon School’s new, one-year, full-time Master of Science Degree in Medical Management offers students the grounding in business issues that leads to successful careers in the health-care industry. For those with undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, medicine, business, and so on, the Medical Management  master's program will expand your career options.

The MS in Medical Management offers students a choice of two elective tracks: technology and supplies or financing and health care services. The technology and supplies track focuses on operations, IT, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Financing and health care services looks at administration, consulting, and health insurance. Students finalize the program with a capstone project, acting as consultants in a health care organization solving actual business problems.
