The 150-credit-hour compliant program will also qualify you to sit for the New York State CPA examination.

Building upon generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Simon’s MS in Accountancy program addresses the operational, analytical, and theoretical aspects of accounting to give you a fully immersive experience into the field. Through a carefully considered curriculum, you will gain critical skills in these areas:

  • Financial information interpretation and analysis
  • Auditing procedures
  • Utilizing financial statement information to inform business strategies and decisions

Study Tracks to Get You to Your Career Goals.

Full-Time MS in Accountancy students have two available tracks:

  • 11-month program of study (non-internship track)
  • 17-month program of study (internship track)
    • Internships are not guaranteed - students choosing the option to extend their program will be eligible to seek an internship, but are not guaranteed placement in an internship
