Part-Time MBA Admissions

The Simon School Part-Time MBA Program is as challenging as the Full-Time MBA, but offers the flexibility that working professionals require. There are four entrance dates throughout the year and you can start the MBA on a matriculated or non-matriculated basis. Part-Time students are also not required to be continuously enrolled every quarter, so you can take one, two, or - if needed - zero classes per quarter. There is an expectation, however, that part-time students complete at least three classes in each academic year.

The Simon School uses a self-managed online application. This requires the applicant to accumulate the necessary documents to complete the process. Applications will be processed when they are submitted, although an application cannot be reviewed for a final decision by the Admissions Committee until all materials are received and the application is complete. Once submitted, academic records, essays and recommendations may not be copied, borrowed or returned.

• One required essays (double spaced, 12-point font, 500 word limit)
• Unofficial transcripts, scanned and uploaded for each college attended (admitted students will be required to submit official transcripts at a later date)
• Test-taker results for GMAT*, scanned and uploaded (MBA or MS applications) 
• Test-taker results for GRE, scanned and uploaded (MS applications only; optional for MS Medical Management and MS Marketing applicants)
• Test-taker results for TOEFL, scanned and uploaded (all international candidates except those who received a degree from an English-speaking institution)
• One online letter of recommendation (submitted electronically); a seccond letter of recommendation is optional
• $125 application fee

* Part-time MBA students who complete four Simon School pre-approved core courses on a non-matriculated basis with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher and no grade of B or below will not be required to take the GMAT.

Applicants will be required to submit official transcripts and test scores upon admission. Offers of admission are not binding until these documents are verified.
