Concentration in Marketing
Our one-year MS. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing offers you a compact, highly-focused program to give you the skills and experience necessary to stand out in a wide range of marketing positions. Our students are likely to assume a position related to one of three key areas: marketing research, sales management, or advertising.
Simon offers a number of resources outside of the classroom to students interested in the field of marketing. The Simon Marketing Association sponsors an annual marketing case competition along with numerous networking events. Recent corporate sponsors of the case competition have included Fisher-Price Inc. and Heineken USA Additionally, the Simon Pricing Club helps students to develop practical pricing skills beyond the classroom and develop solid foundations for careers in the field. The club connects members with the Professional Pricing Society.
Simon students also have the opportunity to join the Rochester Chapter of the American Marketing Association activities including networking events with others interested in the field of marketing, as well as lectures with prominent marketing professionals.
