Ph.D. Tuition & Scholarships

No financial aid forms are required. Most applicants receive a full-tuition scholarship and are paid a stipend over 12 months which will cover moderate living expenses. Initial fellowship amounts vary based on achievement and potential. They are adjusted yearly to reflect performance in the program. In the second year and beyond, teaching assistantships are also offered (10 hours per week, $4500 for 2008-09).

In addition to scholarships and assistantships, all applicants receive a research budget to meet academic needs such as publications, unique data, study aids and travel, etc. Additional funding is provided throughout the students stay in the program as various milestones are met.
