Simon's Career Management Center and the Career Research Center together provide a comprehensive range of services, programs and resources to support you, such as:

As a matriculated student, either PMBA or part-time MS, you have immediate access to numerous databases and career management/job search tools such as:

  • Career Insider* - Research employers, industries, and career subjects. Powered by Vault.
  • CareerShift* - A dynamic job posting, company, and company contacts  database searchable by industry, function, job type, company, and location
  • Going Global - Features country-specific employment resources, including: H1B Plus databased that provides a customized sort of Department of Labor visa applications by job title, location, company, and wage.
  • InterviewStream* - An online, self administered, practice interview program with digital recording capability.
  • MBA-Exchange - Identifies job opportunities for MBAs and research MBA Development Programs.
  • SimonWorks* - One-stop shopping for all your job search needs: Job listings, CMC workshop and events schedule, corporate contacts, employers database, and more.
  • Wetfeet.com* - Get career advice, see company rankings and explore career options.

To be actively engaged in our recruiting process, PMBA and part-time MS students have the opportunity to attend the CMC’s Orientation program (offered on a Saturday once each fall, winter, and spring quarter). Students will receive invitations to this orientation once they have completed their core courses, and are closer to qualifying for MBA or MS level positions.

Career Research Center has extensive online and print information on MBA/MS careers, companies and industries, as well as business publications and magazines and  a variety of lendable books and web based resources.

Dedicated Resources will be available in the Fall of 2013. We are excited to be hiring a Career Counselor focused on part-time, executive and alumni level positions. There are currently staff also available to assist you and helping to determine your opportunities based on your background and career goals.
