The third annual Workshop on Information Intensive Services at the Simon Graduate School of Business on May 15, 2009.  The purpose of the workshop was to bring together academics and practitioners to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in professional and other information intensive services.  Representative topics of interest were: service outsourcing contracts, business process design, health care operations and informatics, revenue management, supply chain technologies and integration, call center management, data mining, corporate information services, financial services, and sales force management.  The workshop provided an informal atmosphere for the sharing of ideas and for creating opportunities for collaboration.  Attendance included practitioners from several of the top innovative service companies operating in the region and scholars from leading academic institutions.
