Jasmine Khan was working at a New York City law firm, Clifford Chance LLP, as a paralegal in the asset finance practice when she decided to study for her MBA. She learned of Simon when she turned to the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, an organization designed to promote diversity in American business, to apply to a few of the Consortium's 15 universities.
"I would say that Simon marketing students receive an unusually heavy quantitative education and training in data analysis that is extremely valuable and not as common at most business schools," she says.
Outside of the classroom, Jasmine has been involved in a number of campus organizations, including the Simon Marketing Association, Simon UNcorked, Simon Ambassadors, Simon National Black MBA Association, and the Latin American Student Organization of Simon (LASOS).
"I am impressed by the amount of opportunities one has at Simon to become involved and take on a leadership role," Jasmine says.
"In terms of opportunity for professional growth, Simon has opened up many doors for me. Whether it is through alumni contacts, the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management network, Forte Foundation, or the fact that I can now say I'm getting an MBA"
