Why Choose Simon?

Zhang

Zhang Chen

MS Accounting Class of 2010

Audit Associate
PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian CPAs Limited Company, Beijing

Zhang Chen's first trip abroad, to Estonia, as a high school debater in 2004 exposed her to people from around the world and whetted her appetite for a career in global business. Three years later, as an undergraduate, Zhang took another step toward her career goal when she studied international business as an exchange student in Finland with students from more than 35 countries.

Zhang eventually made her way to Rochester, where she learned the power of community, which she plans to use in her professional life.

"The most impressive thing for me is the experience of community at Simon," Zhang says. "We do not have a lot of students, but we know each other well. Fairly small classes bring us together no matter what program we are in or how diversified we are."

Zhang, an audit associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian CPAs Limited Company in Beijing, says she has learned from her Simon experience that "focus, sweat, and patience will ultimately lead to career success."

"Blundering does not exist at Simon. Personally, I will try my best to focus on my career path and make success steadily," she says.

"Simon is well known and ranked as a most-diversified graduate business school and women students are playing a significant role here. The diversity and warm responses from staff attracted me here."
