M.B.A. Enterprise Corps

Corps Overview: M.B.A. Enterprise Corps deploys recently graduated M.B.A.’s from the top business schools in the U.S. to emerging markets in developing nations and private sector businesses around the globe. The M.B.A.s have at least three to five years of business experience, and are willing to volunteer 15 months of their time and expertise to support development efforts. The standard assignment consists of three months of language training and acculturation followed by 12 months of work with the host organization. Since the Corps’ inception in 1990, over 600 members have assisted in all aspects of management and technology transfer to well over 1,000 enterprises, business support organizations and associations.

Typical Corps assignments offer:

  • Long-term assistance to businesses in emerging markets
  • Early and significant international business experience
  • Opportunities to learn new languages or build on language skills
  • A strong personal and professional network, and
  • Skills and cross-cultural capabilities that make today’s global managers successful.
