Blackboard

Blackboard is the University of Rochester's online course management system where professors post syllabi, assignments, and readings.

To access Blackboard, you will need your NetID and password.

Please refer to the Blackboard @ Simon support website (on Simon Exchange) for updates.

Please note that there can be a delay from the time a student registers until the course(s) appear in Blackboard due to different system uploads. Darden (Simon School Student Records System) uploads student and course data to the University's Information System (ISIS) on a daily basis. The University's Information System (ISIS) exports registrations to Blackboard.

Upload Schedule, Monday-Friday
Darden to ISIS.....3:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 4:15 p.m.
ISIS to Blackboard.....6:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m.

Please note that a Bursar's hold on your account will prevent access to course sites on Blackboard. Please contact the Bursar's Office at (585) 275-3931 for assistance.

Student access to courses is turned off 30 days after the end of final exams.
