Academic Regalia (Cap and Gown)
To order your cap and gown, click here. Orders must be submitted no later than Friday, May 3, 2013. Individuals placing orders after this deadline cannot be guaranteed proper regalia size. If ordering after the May 3, you must contact Maria at the Bookstore at 585-275-4012.
Caps, gowns, and tassels will be individually packaged and available for distribution beginning Monday, June 3, at the University of Rochester Bookstore, Frederick Douglass Building. Bookstore hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
If you are unable to pick up your cap and gown during the week of June 3, Bookstore personnel will be at the Eastman Theatre on Sunday, June 9, the day of Commencement, for late pick-up. We recommend, however, that you pick up your gown the week prior so there is a chance for the wrinkles to hang out. The hood will not be supplied at the time you pick up your cap and gown because it will be presented in the formal hooding, which is part of the Commencement Ceremony.
