From 1996-2017, Jim served as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (2007) for Monro, Inc. (NASDAQ:MNRO). Monro is the largest independently owned and operated automotive services chain in the United States. Jim joined Monro when the company had 240 locations and one brand and helped expand to over 1,250 locations and nine brands. Monro’s advertising budget exceeded $30 million.

In addition to his business experience, Jim has taught for over 30 years and received teaching excellence awards from two Colleges. His background includes a Masters and Ph.D. in Marketing and Applied Statistics.
