Résumé and work history

We require a business formatted résumé (not a CV) and recommend it be no longer than two pages. Focus on quantifying your accomplishments and be sure to keep the formatting clean and easy to read.

When you are preparing your response, make sure you fully answer the question and stay within the word count.

College transcripts

School-issued official transcripts, scanned and uploaded for each college attended. Please provide all transcripts—both from undergraduate and graduate school (if applicable).

Standardized test

GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment (Optional):
Simon Business School offers the option to apply without submitting a GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment score. We encourage you to review our standardized test score guidance as you determine what best supports your candidacy.

TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test (International Applicants)* :
International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency for admission consideration and visa issuance through one of the following exams: TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, or Duolingo English Test.

Recommended minimum scores:
TOEFL iBT: 100
IELTS Academic: 7.0 (no band below 6.5)
Duolingo: 125

Official test results must be submitted as part of your application: TOEFL & IELTS: Upload your official score report with your application (school codes available here).
Duolingo: Enter your scores on the Test Score screen and request that your certified results be sent to Simon.
These scores are recommendations, not absolute cutoffs, and are reviewed as part of a holistic application process.
